Anthony “Tony” Ferguson is an investor, entrepreneur, and seasoned investment banker with extensive experience in natural resources and capital markets. Over his career, he has advised on major global mining transactions and led investment teams across multiple regions.
Tony spent the majority of his career with Macquarie Group, where he founded and led the Natural Resources Team, established the firm’s presence in Canada, headed Macquarie’s Asian investment banking operations, and created the Asia Resources Fund. He later served as Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at Rothschild Australia and as a Global Partner of Rothschild Investment Bank.

Earlier in his career, Tony worked as a mining engineer at Rio Tinto’s Woodlawn Mine, bringing technical expertise to his later investment and advisory roles. He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Dateline Resources Limited.

At ACM, Tony advises on mining investments, strategic partnerships, private equity and capital markets.
