Dr. Joachim Kayser

Partner and Chief Counsel

Dr. Joachim Kayser is a German attorney-at-law specializing in private investment funds, tax, and regulatory law. Based in Berlin, he advises institutional investors, family offices, and fund managers on structuring and compliance across private equity, infrastructure, and real-asset strategies.

He previously served as Partner at Dentons LP and Goodwin LLP, where he established and led Germany’s Private Investment Funds practice, and earlier as Head of Financial Services Germany at Dechert LLP. Before that, he spent a decade as Partner at PwC Germany, leading the Alternative Investment and Regulatory Consulting teams.

At ACM, Joachim oversees fund formation, regulatory structuring, and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with EU AIFM, ESG, and tax standards.
