


Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Ben Hodges

Lieutenant General (ret.) Ben Hodges is the former Commanding General of U.S. Army Europe (2014–2017), with over three decades of distinguished military leadership. A recognized authority on transatlantic security, NATO operations, and European defence policy, he now advises governments and organizations on strategic affairs, logistics, and geopolitical risk.
He is a Distinguished Fellow at GLOBSEC (Prague) and sits on the International Advisory Boards of the New Strategy Center (Bucharest) and the Warsaw Security Forum, as well as several civic advocacy boards including Atlantik-Brücke and the Renew Democracy Initiative. A frequent media commentator, he co-authored Future War and the Defence of Europe (Oxford University Press).
At ACM, General Hodges advises on defence strategy, transatlantic relations, and the integration of critical minerals into Europe’s security and industrial resilience agenda.
