


Professor J.D. Bindenagel
Diplomatic & Transatlantic Advisor
Prof. J.D. Bindenagel is a retired U.S. diplomat with more than 30 years of service, including senior appointments as Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues and Negotiator for Conflict Diamonds and the $6 billion German–American agreement on forced and slave labor.
He served extensively in Germany as Deputy Chief of Mission and Chargé d’Affaires in Bonn, strengthening U.S.–German relations during a pivotal period in European security. In academia, he was the Henry Kissinger Professor at the University of Bonn and remains a leading voice on transatlantic relations, international security, and strategic foresight.
At ACM, Ambassador Bindenagel advises on geopolitical affairs, transatlantic policy, and strategic partnerships.
