ACM Advisory Board members Lieutenant General (Retired) Ben Hodges, former Commanding General of U.S. Army Europe, and Dr Isabel Cane joined senior defence, government and industry leaders at GLOBSEC 2026 in Prague, speaking at a number of events on Europe’s defence capabilities and critical material security.
The sessions explored how Europe can mobilise investment, innovation and alternative sources of strategic materials to strengthen its defence industrial base. During the Forum, Dr Cane also met with Czech President Petr Pavel, whose participation underscored the growing connection between economic security, defence readiness and resilient critical mineral supply chains.
