At Resourcing Tomorrow 2025 in London, ACM Advisory Board member Dr Isabel Cane met with investors, representatives of the U.S. Department of War and Critical Minerals Forum, and Australian and European leaders to advance discussions around investment and secure supplies of strategic minerals.
Dr Cane also spoke on the panel “How Can the Mining Industry Urgently Fulfil the Defence Industry’s Critical Raw Material Requirements?”, examining the widening gap between defence demand and the capacity of mineral supply chains to respond. Discussions focused on how governments, industry and investors can accelerate responsible projects, mobilise capital and build reliable supply chains for materials increasingly central to national security.
